Sub Agent – M62 Infrastructure Project

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Sub Agent to support the delivery of a major M62 highway improvement scheme. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, assisting the Project Manager, and ensuring smooth delivery of civil engineering works including highways, bridges, and associated infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for a technically competent civil engineer or senior site agent ready to contribute to a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day management of site works.

• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with project programmes.

• Assist with NEC contract administration, risk management, and progress reporting.

• Monitor Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards on site.

• Liaise with statutory authorities, stakeholders, and the wider project team.

• Contribute to site set-ups, surveys, temporary works, and construction delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent site management experience.

• Previous experience as a Sub Agent or Site Agent on highways or major infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with NEC contracts and site programmes (MSP/Primavera desirable).

• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality compliance on site.

• CSCS card holder; SMSTS or equivalent site management certification.

• Experience in temporary works, lifting operations, or utilities coordination is advantageous.
