Sub Agent – Marine Civil Engineering (Contract)
Location: Folkestone Project
Duration: 3–4 Months
We are currently looking for an experienced Sub Agent with a marine civil engineering background to join a project delivering complex infrastructure works in a challenging marine environment.
This is a short-term contract opportunity (3–4 months) supporting addition works at the Folkestone project, involving deep drainage, earthworks, and concrete works in an area with significant level changes.
The Role
You will play a key role in managing deep drainage works within a complex marine setting, coordinating temporary works and supervising construction activities on site. The role requires strong technical understanding and the ability to manage works safely in areas with up to 4m level differences.
Programme
Key Responsibilities

Oversee deep drainage installation in a marine environment

Manage temporary works design and implementation

Supervise earthworks and concrete slab construction

Ensure safe delivery around significant level differences (approx. 4m drop)

Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and site teams

Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
Requirements

Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on marine or heavy civils projects

Strong background in deep drainage, earthworks, and temporary works

Experience working in complex site conditions

Civil Engineering qualification (preferred)

Strong site leadership and coordination skills
