Sub Agent – M3 Junction 9 Project

Tier 1 Contractor | Highways & Earthworks Experience Required

A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project on the M3 Junction 9 improvement scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile highways project delivering complex earthworks and civil engineering packages within a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

The Role

As Sub Agent, you will support the delivery of key sections of works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, and within budget. You will work closely with Site Agents, Engineers, subcontractors, and the wider delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Overseeing highways and earthworks packages
• Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Supporting programme delivery and cost control
• Reviewing RAMS, permits, and temporary works
• Producing site documentation and progress reports
• Driving quality and compliance across all activities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sub Agent on highways or major infrastructure projects
• Strong background in earthworks and civil engineering
• Experience working with Tier 1 contractors preferred
• Good understanding of NEC contracts
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
