A great opportunity has arisen to join a £250 million heavy civils rail project in Cambridgeshire for a Tier 1 main contractor.
The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated professionals working together on this innovative project.
The person:
- Experience of major heavy civil engineering projects including piling, earthworks and reinforced concrete works
- Professional / educational back ground in civil engineering
- Experience of working in and around a rail environment
The project:
The project intent is to separate a major junction on the ECML by installing a dive undertaking freight and local passenger services below the ECML. Morgan Sindall are Network Rail’s delivery partner for GRIP 4-6 Civils and OLE works incorporating piled retaining walls, bored tunnels, steel structures and a box jack. The project is due on site in Summer 2018 with the programme lasting until 2021.
