Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sub Agent to work on a Station Upgrade project in North London. The Sub Agent will have strong Rail & Civils experience. The right applicant will have good knowledge of specifications and testing regime relevant to general civil engineering. You will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Responsibilities:
As a Sub Agent you undertake the following:
- Ensure accurate implementation of all engineering controls and compliance with the contract drawings and specification Produce risk assessments and method statements for safe execution of the works
- Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
- Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Manage resources to ensure work is completed to site goals and systems requirements
The Project:
It is a key rail scheme on the Governments Railway Improvement Programme.
The station throat and approaches are to be remodelled including new track layout, new Overhead Line Electrification (OLE) and modified platforms to suit to modified track layout, and a new conventional signalling system controlled from a Regional Operating Centre (ROC).
This Project is due for completion for 2020
