Sub/Site Agent
An opportunity exists for an experienced Rail Sub Agent/Agent with extensive civil SI/GI design coordinating experience as gained on medium to large rail projects for a Principal Contractor. Project Engineers with Consulting Engineering experience within the rail industry are also requested to consider this opportunity.
Duties include
- Act as the link between the delivery and design teams during the SI/GI phase
- Ensure that the flow of information in both directions is successful
- Ensure all subcontractors are properly briefed and collect information successfully
- Ensure that the design program is interlinked to the delivery program
- Attend weekly design meetings
Requirements –
- Extensive civil engineering construction experience within the rail sector for a tier one/two principal contractor OR Consulting Engineer.
- Good knowledge of design principles and interpretations
- Good knowledge of Network rail and British standard relating civils SI/GI work
- Proven design co-ordination and Designer interaction experience
- Effective planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering preferable
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
