Our client is looking for a hands-on Sub Agent / Section Engineer to look after a project which involves the pedestrianisation/regeneration of Andover town centre. You will be working for the subcontractor and the requirement is expected to run for the next 4 months however the right candidate may be moved onto other projects in the surrounding area.
The role will involve:
- Overall site management (logistics arrangements, RAMS, TBS, daily briefs, production driving, delivering, and understanding client drawings and specification, etc)
- Client facing on daily basis and attendance weekly progress meetings,
- Management of site operatives and 1- 2 site engineers
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent subject
- Demonstratable experience working on a self-delivered project
- Experience working on similar town/local authority regeneration projects
- Experience supervising section 278 works for local authorities
- UK driving licence
- CSCS
- First Aid
- SMSTS
- NRSWA blue or white
