An exciting opportunity exists for a Sub Project Manager to join a nuclear decommissioning project in Cumbria
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a specific area of the project.
This position falls inside IR35.
Duties include -
- Support the Project Manager in development & monitoring of progress
- Attendance at stakeholder meetings, supporting forward planning in readiness for project delivery.
- Attend walkdowns and working closely with the sub-contractors ensure enabling documentation is in place for projects to progress into the construction phase.
- Lead progress meetings with Sub-Contractors to monitor and discuss progress
- Attend Client progress meetings
- Awareness of CDM regs within the nuclear industry and implement on all construction tasks.
- Identify and manage specifically those areas that represent significant risk to the Project Work in a highly regulated environment
Requirements for this position -
- Engineering qualification
- Nuclear experience is beneficial
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively,
- High levels of drive and motivation
- CSCS
- Ability to obtain BPSS clearence
