A freelance opportunity exists for a Survey Assistant to form part of a Survey team on highways project in Manchester. Newly qualified Surveyors/Civil Engineers as well as candidate who have recently completed a setting out course and looking for some exposure on site within the industry, are also requested to apply.
Duties will include:
- Reporting to the Surveyor conducting the Survey
- Setting up of the instruments
- Safe guarding of the instruments
- Gathering and recording of information
Requirements are:
- Newly qualified in Civil Engineering or Survey (advantageous but not essential)
- Previous exposure to Survey Instruments would be advantageous
- Responsible, reliable and keen
