We are seeking a Contract Survey Assistant/ Chainperson to join our client's team.
As a Survey Assistant/Chainperson, your main responsibilities will include assisting the site engineer with setting out, setting up equipment such as total stations and dumpy levels, helping with level checks, and undertaking other necessary tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess a CSCS Green operative's card, previous highways experience, be hardworking, reliable, and detail-orientated.
Before starting on site, a Safety Critical Medical & Highways Passport is required, but we are able to assist in arranging this.
The hourly rate of £13.55 (PAYE) includes holiday pay accrual at £1.77 per hour and a pension contribution at £0.46, resulting in a total of £15.78 per hour. Please note that holiday pay accrues separately into a holiday fund.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, with a 30-minute break each day, totalling 47.5 hours paid per week.
