We are looking for a Survey Coordinator who will be looking after administration and organisation of the Survey team on HS2 project in Hertfordshire. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Survey reporting and As-Built delivery 
  • Administration of Survey team processes and methodologies 
  • Management of equipment processes registers and calibrations 
  • Preparation of risk assessed method statements for the survey team
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Initial point of contact and lead for Survey Subcontractors 
  • Integration of survey/BIM/GIS processes.
  • Managing all UAV operations on the project.
  • Survey Supervision
  • Carrying out surveys- engineering, 3D scanning, 
  • Preparing survey data 

 Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Land Survey or Geomatics and / or relevant work experience which demonstrates applied knowledge of land survey procedures.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior/Lead Surveyor.
  • Membership of or working towards chartership with a relevant organisation – RICS, CICES etc.
  • Up to date knowledge in Land & Engineering Surveying techniques.
  • Experienced in Survey reporting and delivery for handover.
  • Knowledge of BIM standards, processes, and procedures
  • A self-sufficient and motivated individual who can build a team, develop strategy, secure resources, and establish processes for surveying.
  • PfCO qualified with extensive UAV experience both in field and processing (desirable)
  • Experience in leading numbers of teams, departmental organisation.
  • CSCS Card holder.
  • SMSTS (desirable)
