Survey Manager

Up to £60k + Package

CarmichaelUK are looking for a Survey Manager to work with one of our clients who provide geotechnical, structural and environmental monitoring and setting out services. They support major and minor infrastructure projects with specialist surveying services. this role will be based out of an office in London and has a provisional start date of 5th October 2020.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the survey setting out division
  • Ensuring that key projects provide examplary customer service, perform in line with budgets, targets and expectations as agreed with the General Manager
  • Supporting the Operations and Project Managers
  • Providing technical support to the engineers
  • Maintenance of survey equipment
  • Ensuring the implementation of effective management controls
  • Developing effective quality, environmental and H&S systems
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments
  • Ensure profit margins are maximised 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an HND or higher in Surveying or related subject
  • Holds a valid CSCS card
  • Has a full UK driving license
  • Has strong IT skills: Excel, Word, AutoCAD, StarNet, Leica GeoMos
  • Proven experience of having worked at manager level
  • Proven experience of having worked on major infrastructure projects
  • Excellent knowledge of surveying: total station, GPS, levelling, monitoring, laser scanning
