Carmichaels are seeking an Survey Manager to work on a major highways project in Gloucestershire
Location: Gloucester - site based
Contract: Permanent Fulltime
Salary: £47k - £55k + £5.3k car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager, you'll manage and co-ordinate the survey requirements of the project, including site control, survey equipment, calibration records, setting out, surveying, liaising with the design team, distribution of design model, overall responsibility for dimensional accuracy across the project.
Your day to day will include:
- Management of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality SHEQ) matters for areas of direct responsibility
- Support the engineering team to ensure accuracy of information
- Managing third party topographical surveys, survey requests and distribution of information
- Provide assistance to the Scheme Lead on constructability issues during the planning phase of the project and manage the resource allocation for early construction activities that may take place during this phase
- Approval of safe systems of work
What are we looking for?
This role of Engineering Manager is great if you have:
- Relevant construction related degree/HNC
- Experience in a similar role in a construction major project
- CSCS card
- SMSTS
