An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a high-profile project at Heathrow Airport, supporting the demolition and redevelopment of the former Terminal 1 site.
Working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure environments, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate survey control, setting out, and as-built data across a complex demolition and enabling works programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain survey control networks.
- Carry out setting out and verification surveys.
- Produce accurate as-built surveys and records.
- Support demolition, enabling works, and civil engineering activities.
- Process and manage survey data using industry-standard software.
- Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and Heathrow standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proficient with Leica, Trimble, or Topcon survey equipment.
- Strong understanding of GNSS, Total Stations, and survey control.
- Experience producing topographical and as-built surveys.
- Ability to work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
- Heathrow, aviation, rail, or major infrastructure experience is advantageous.
