CarmichaelUK are looking for a Surveyor to work with one of our clients who operate in the rail sector. Our client is a growing company who has been working with Network Rail as a principal contractor for around 12 to 18 months and as such are continuing to pick up work along the Wessex route. They are ideally looking for someone to come on board on a permanent basis but are also happy to consider contractors and people looking to go temp to perm. The role will involve a lot of travelling as their sites are across the whole of the south of England from Kent to South Wales and down to Devon.
The role will entail:
- Setting out
- Using the latest surveying equipment to provide surveying data
- Data processing
- Monitoring
- Topographical surveys
- Producing as-built surveys
- Working both independently and with an assistant depending on project size and scope of work
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a degree in Surveying
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Holds a valid PTS
