Carmichael are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project based in Buckinghamshire.
Experience in surveying and setting out of complex civils is a must
Duties include:
- Full knowledge/understanding of Structural monitoring is required
- Experience/working knowledge of modern monitoring systems including geodetic & geotechnical is advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with partners under time pressure
- Demonstrates an understanding for project schedules, inter dependent activities, that facilities survey prioritisations
- Support the Lead Surveyor and undertakes surveying duties as assigned by him / her to prioritise services demand on the project
- Responsible for undertaking as-built positional checks for the works
- Provide technical support to the project as subject matter expert
- Coach, mentor and develop less experienced surveyors / engineers to teach practicable survey / best practice techniques for setting out
- Ensure project quality assurance processes are fully complied with
Requirement for this post includes -
- Extensive experience on industrial type projects for a tier one principal Contractor
- An ability to provide survey solutions and proven mentoring skills
- Demonstrates a passion and excitement for his / her work. Tackles problems head-on and works to resolve them without delay.
- Extensive knowledge of AutoCad, Civil 3D and LSS
- CSCS, First Aid and legible to undertake a security clearance
- Degree in engineering or equivalent
