Job Title: Surveyor
Location: Aylesbury/ Banbury/ Brackley (assigned to one site)
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Tools & Vehicle: Own tools & vehicle preferred (company tools/vehicle available if needed)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Surveyor to support ongoing works across one of our active infrastructure project sites on HS2. The Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out accurate site measurements, setting out, and ensuring alignment with design specifications and project tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct topographical, structural, and setting-out surveys as required.

Provide accurate data for construction and engineering teams.

Collaborate closely with engineers, foremen, and site managers to ensure smooth execution of project stages.

Maintain survey records, logs, and data files in line with project and company standards.

Assist with quality assurance and verification of construction works.

Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering surveying.

Proficient in using Total Stations, GPS equipment, and relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Trimble, Leica, etc.).

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

CSCS card (or equivalent site safety certification).

Full driving license and access to own vehicle preferred.
Rate is dependent on if you own your own equipment or not.
