Our client is looking for established surveyors to join their expanding team in Melbourne, Victoria. They can offer flexible arrangements for 3month and 6 months project roles.
As the Surveyor, your duties will include;
- Survey instrument site check and adjust
- Ad-hoc setting out for site team
- Setting out checks and calculations for site engineer(s) including pre-pour QA / ITP sign-off
- Ad-hoc asbuilt, laser scans and topographic survey requests
- Ability to mentor other staff in the department i.e. survey assistants
- Competent and up to speed with the latest and Trimble equipment.
- A level of 12D proficiency is desired
- Produce good quality QA records for all surveying work
- Process and present topographical surveys
- Carry out and present as-built surveys
Your profile:
- Expertise of working on heavy civil projects is desirable
- Demonstrable experience of using Trimble and Total Station GPS.
- Knowledge and understanding of CAD programs.
- Qualifications in Surveying or Geomatics.
- The ability to work well as a team.
- Track record of success and completion whilst working on projects.
