We are looking for enthusiastic surveyors/engineers to join a sub-contractor working on bulk earthworks projects in the Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Herefordshire regions. Typical project lengths are between 2-3 months and the client is looking for candidates to train and develop for long-term opportunities within the company.
The day to day role will involve;
- Working alongside the Site Manager/Supervisor to maintain the smooth running of site operations.
- Setout of dig perimeters and taking asbuilt records of installed panels using Trimble GPS
- Producing panel layout plans using AutoCAD
- Site record keeping including daily diaries and progress reports
Ideal candidates will have;
- Valid CSCS card
- Experience using AutoCAD and Trimble GPS, however, training will be provided
- Prior experience working on earthworks projects
Sites are often located in rural/industrial areas so candidates will need to be open to travel options outside of public transport.
