Carmichael are seeking a Technical Administrator to join the teams based in Calvert.

Reporting to the Head of Temporary works for the CA section, you will be supporting the Temporary Works team with daily administrative tasks and following business processes for Document Control, Data Handling and Reporting. You will have a key focus on the handling and manipulation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Reporting Data.

 The role will require you to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders of varying levels, managing their expectations in terms of delivery of appropriate and accurate information. You will also be required to gather and interpret data to produce reports.

 In this fast-paced position, you will develop and maintain an up to date and detailed understanding of the project and the needs of the client as well as other internal and external stakeholders. You will build and maintain good relationships with these stakeholders by adopting the most appropriate approach to deal with people and situations.

 You will need to respond positively to changing business circumstances and able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities. You'll also foster Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the TWD team and ensure collaborative working, the right behaviours and culture within the TWD team and with HS2, subcontractors, suppliers and any other third parties. 

 Another area will be to provide Logistical support to Material Controller during holiday and sickness cover.

About The Candidate

  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) grade C - Maths and English
  • Excellent working knowledge of O365
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Forms and PowerBI
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and with conflicting priorities

You must hold a Driving license and have access to a vehicle - the work location for this role is not accessible by public transport.
