Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all temporary works activities in accordance with BS 5975:2019 and project procedures.

Maintain and regularly review the Temporary Works Register.

Coordinate with designers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant temporary works solutions.

Review and issue Temporary Works Design Briefs and ensure designs are adequately checked and approved.

Manage the temporary works design process, including design changes and approvals.

Carry out inspections and audits to ensure temporary works are installed in accordance with approved designs.

Produce and manage ITPs, quality documentation, and inspection hold points.

Ensure temporary works are maintained, monitored, and safely managed throughout their lifecycle.

Support site teams with technical guidance, risk management, and construction planning.

Promote high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance across all temporary works activities.
Requirements
-
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on major construction, infrastructure, rail, energy, or similar projects.

Strong working knowledge of BS 5975:2019.

Valid CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Certificate (essential).

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
