A long term opportunity exists on an iconic rail project in West Yorkshire for experienced and proficient civil/rail Temporary Works Coordinators. Your experience in taking down the brief for the Designers and then ensuring the installation has been done in accordance to the design, is sought after.
This position falls inside IR35. The rates advertised are negotiable based on experience.
Duties include but not limited to -
- Coordinating Temporary Works activities
- Write and submit briefs to Designers
- Ensure that those responsible for on-site supervision receive full design details, with significant risks and design limitations highlighted
- Check the implementation maintenance of the works
- Ensure TW documentation is adequately maintained within the site management systems
- Register or record the drawings, calculations and other relevant documents relating to the final design
- Ensure the successful demobilisation of the temporary works.
Requirements for this position -
- Civil/Structural Engineering qualification preferred
- Prior experience as TWC on major Civils projects
- Completed a CITB or similar TWC course
- CSCS, SMSTS, PTS, First Aid
