A long term, inside IR35, opportunity exists on an iconic rail project in West Yorkshire for a career civil/rail Temporary Works Coordinator. Your experience in taking down the brief for the Designers and then ensuring the installation has been done in accordance to the design, is sought after.
Duties include but not limited to -
- Coordinating all Temporary Works activities in your section
- Write and submit briefs to Designers
- Ensure that those responsible for on-site supervision/construction receive full design details with significant risks and design limitations highlighted
- Check the implementation and maintenance of the works
- Ensure TW documentation is adequately maintained within the site management systems
- Register or record the drawings, calculations and other relevant documents relating to the final design
- Ensure the successful demobilisation of the temporary works.
Requirements for this position -
- Civil/Structural Engineering qualification preferred
- Experience as TWC on major Civils projects for tier one Principal Civil Engineering Contractors
- Completed a CITB or similar accredited TWC course
- PTS, AP and rail experience is preferred but not essential
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
