An inside IR35 opportunity exists for a competent Temporary Works Design Engineer on an iconic £multi-billion rail project. Your proven experience and knowledge delivering temporary works solutions for a tier one Contractor or a Consulting Engineering practice to the BS5975 standards, is sought.
Your duties will include –
- Receiving, recording and processing the design briefs
- Understand the construction methodology, risks and provide advice.
- Produce the TW design and drawings in accordance with CDM regulations.
- Collaborate with the TWC and site delivery teams.
- Be the source of technical information.
Preferable requirements for this opportunity are –
- Civil/Structural Engineering degree or equivalent
- Chartered or working toward Chartership.
- Broad TW design experience to include crane pads, hording & fencing, deep excavations, foundations, slope stability, propping systems, scaffolding (TG20 & others), formwork/falsework and temporary bridges.
