We are currently looking for Temporary Works Designers to join a Tier 1 JV, on a major Infrastructure project based in West London.

These are immediate requirements and will be a long term role for the right candidate.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Temporary Works Manager & Temporary Works Coordinators (TWCs) in the delivery & co-ordination of all Temporary Works activities on the contract. The post holder will ensure that Temporary Works Designs are adequate and safely designed for construction, use & dismantling.

The Temporary Works Designers primary task is the management of the Design process from Requirement (Design Brief) to Delivery (Construction) Communicating via Design Check Certificates, Drawings, Designers Risk Assessments & Calcs to the TWC and Construction Team.

The successful candidates will;

• Hold a Civil or Structural Engineering Qualification, preferably BEng or higher (MEng, MSc), minimum of an HNC/HN Chartered Membership of Professional Body (CEng MICE or similar)
• Have previous experience of temporary works design Understanding and application of BS5975:2008 +A1 2011 Thorough understanding and application of the CDM Regulations 2015
• Ideally, hold a TWC and SMSTS qualification
