An immediate start freelance opportunity exist for an experienced Senior Foreman/General Foreman with extensive experience as a Senior Foreman/General Foreman on tunneling and/or shaft sinking projects as gained whilst in the employ of specialist tunneling/shaft sinking principal contractors. Your many years of continuous experience is sought after.
Duties will include –
- Implementing and assuring safety standards and RAMS
- Ensuring the project is delivered of the highest quality and on time
- Asses the performance of staff and subcontractors
- Ensuring plant, labour and material is available
- Record daily progress and plant returns
- Report to management daily
Requirements for this post include –
- Extensive experience as a Senior Foreman/General Foreman within the said industry
- Excellent supervision and leadership skills
- First Aid, CSCS and SSSTS
- Previous hands-on experience progressing through the ranks
- Prepared to work on a 7-3-7-4 shift pattern
