An opportunity exists for a dedicated TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) on an iconic project in the North East.
Experience overseeing roads, bridges, retaining walls, drainage, gantries, culverts, etc. is sought after.
Your TWC duties will include –
• Identify the TW scope and convey the requirements to the Designer.
• Continuously liaise with TW Designers and highlight any changes.
• Keep TW register updated including all calcs, drawings, certificates etc.
• Carry out regular inspections and ensure they are safe.
• Update and meet with site staff regularly.
• Liaise with the AP where required.
• Check and withhold RAMS.
• Ensure and implement safety standards.
Requirement for this opportunity include –
• A valid temporary works certificate
• Extensive continuous experience as a TWC
• Preferable have a civil engineering qualification
• Previous recent experience on highway projects
• Disciplined approach to quality assurance and documentation
• CSCS and first aid
• Highways safety critical medical or prepared to complete one.
