Carmichael are recruiting for a Utilities/ Services Coordinator on a tier 1 major civils project, expanding a refinery for £800m.
Utilities/ Services Coordinator:
Start: 06.02.23
Duration: 12 months
Location: Fawley Southampton
Rate: £360 shift rate (inside IR35)

Obtain and anaylse existing underground service drawings

Have utility experience including CAT & Genny and iOSH trained for buried services

Run the refinery permit process and internal permit system

Understand and establish methodology for excavation for permanent and temporary works

Coordinate effective team working through good communication and regular team meetings

Ensure health and safety requirements are met within services and comply with Health & Safety Legislation and Minimum Safety Standards for excavations

Liaise with Exxon process team to understand working environment on site and process

Work across three sections both within and external to refinery

Seek improvements in permit process to streamline wherever possible
