I am looking for a Works Manager to work for a specialist Contractor on a major rail infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire region. You will be overseeing key repairs on the viaduct.
The role will involve:
- Ensuring construction operations and materials are in compliance with project requirements.
- Controlling the project schedule to ensure timely and economical completion.
- Liaising with the Management team on management of construction activities.
- Managing the General Foreman and Foreman and ensuring they carry out their key responsibilities and duties.
- Maintain records of daily site activities and report on progress when required.
The ideal candidate will:
- HNC (Construction related) or NVQ Level 2
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Hold a valid PTS card
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge and practical application of Site Construction activities and management of staff, operatives and subcontractors
- Have previous project experience within a civil and rail environment
